Windows Support Engineer Hybrid Role

Advance your career as a Windows Support Engineer in Ottawa, ON, with a hybrid work model. This full-time role focuses on supporting critical applications, addressing technical issues, and enhancing server environments. In this position, you'll provide essential support under the Assistant Director of Core Platform and Infrastructure Services. You're expected to maintain and upgrade Windows servers on-premise and in the cloud, ensuring efficiency in Bank environments. Direct involvement with application owners and internal teams through ServiceNOW will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain Windows server environments both on-premise and cloud
- Offer level 2 technical support and address upgrades
- Create detailed documentation for changes and procedures
- Recommend improvements for performance and efficiency
- Assist with other related tasks as required
- University degree or college diploma in IT or related field
- Three years of relevant support experience in a hybrid workplace
- Two years of experience with Windows Server systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Group Policies and SCCM
- Ability to develop Infrastructure as Code with tools like Ansible
