As a Senior Logistics Consultant with Expeditors, you will be at the forefront of customs operations, classifying imported products, and ensuring adherence to international trade agreements. This role requires collaboration with clients and the CBSA to tackle complex customs issues and navigate the Harmonized Tariff System effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Classify imported goods per the Harmonized Tariff Schedule
- Research and apply Customs rulings for accurate classifications
- Manage binding classification ruling processes
- Liaise with domestic and international clients
- Guide and mentor junior team members
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the trade sector
- CCS or CTCS certification preferred
- Canadian Customs Broker License or intent to obtain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
