Strategic Executive Director Role

Lead initiatives to enhance family wellbeing in Canada as the Executive Director at the Vanier Institute. This hybrid role requires visionary leadership and partnership building across sectors. The Vanier Institute of the Family is seeking an experienced Executive Director to guide its mission. You will shape strategic initiatives while leading a team of seven in a collaborative environment. The focus is on strengthening family understanding through evidence-based policies and practices while enhancing public presence and awareness. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to influence family wellbeing
- Shape the Institute’s strategy and foster partnerships
- Serve as the spokesperson for media and public relations
- Drive change and innovation in organizational operations
- Manage governance, financial oversight, and compliance
- 7+ years of executive leadership experience
- Proven track record in cross-sector partnerships
- Experience with Board of Directors
- Background in family studies or social sciences
- Bilingual in English and French preferred
