Airbus Director of Engineering Role

Be a key driver of aerospace innovation as the Director of Engineering at Airbus Atlantique Canada. Your leadership will ensure compliance, enhance engineering capabilities, and foster collaboration. This role requires ensuring that engineering practices strictly meet Health, Safety, and Environment standards while managing deliverables and budgets effectively. You will spearhead digital transformation efforts and guide teams through continuous improvement while developing training programs aligned with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure technical compliance with industry standards
• Monitor program budgets and engineering deliverables
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and tool adoption
• Support R&D and change request impact analysis
• Develop training programs for engineering staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautical)
• 15 years of relevant aerospace experience
• Expertise in certification and stress analysis
• Proficient in design and lifecycle management tools
• Fluent in both English and French
