Raw Material Coordinator

Your Role at KIK- LAVO Division

Reporting to the Planning and Purchasing Manager, the person in this position will ensure that the raw materials required by the production schedule are available when needed. He/she will also ensure that the raw materials inventory is as accurate as possible, and make adjustments accordingly. She will work closely with the Planning Manager, Receiving/Shipping, Production Supervisors and forklift operators.

What You''ll Be Doing?

• Analyze inventory in conjunction with production requirements to ensure that required raw materials are available.
• Execute inventory transfers of required raw materials.
• Coordinate transportation for certain raw materials.
• Make/check raw material receipts.
• Keep inventory up to date. Count and adjust if necessary.
• Plan and manage annual inventory.
• Analyze and anticipate MRP messages.
• Make appointments with raw materials suppliers and produce delivery schedule.
• Manage raw material storage trailers to maximize space.
• Coordinate sample requests for Marketing Department
• Validate storage invoices
• Follow up on non-conforming raw materials with Purchasing and QA
• Make month-end adjustments (Bulk, Batch, Warehouse)
• Respond to Finance queries on inventories.
• All other related tasks

What You''ll Bring

• Diploma Collegial Studies in operations management or logistics or experience in planning, warehousing management, raw materials purchasing or other relevant experience
• Experience with the JDE ERP system would be an asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite
• Bilingual
