Senior Leader For Regulatory Approvals Toronto
Nuclear Waste Management Organization
Take the lead in regulatory approvals with NWMO as a Senior Leader. Spearhead compliance for the APM project while guiding teams through complex regulations and stakeholder engagement. In this senior role, you will oversee the regulatory approvals strategy for NWMO’s APM project.
With a focus on Canadian nuclear regulations, you will manage approvals and ensure safety compliance. Your leadership will engage various stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, while advising senior management on regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the regulatory approvals portfolio for the APM project
Align teams for successful licensing submissions
Advise on legislative matters for the Executive Team
Foster a solid health and safety culture
Lead and inspire a high-performing team
Requirements 15 years of experience in regulatory leadership
5 years of CNSC engagement experience
Deep understanding of Canadian nuclear regulations
Relevant university degree in regulatory affairs
Robust communication and relationship‑building skills
