Senior Finance Advisor - IFRS 17 Improvement

Become a key player in financial transformation with Intact as a Senior Business Advisor focused on IFRS 17 improvements. This role includes hybrid work arrangements with diverse responsibilities. Intact's Finance Transformation & Systems team is seeking a dedicated professional to refine and enhance financial reporting operations. As a part of this impactful role, you will connect Finance, Controls/Audit, and IT to drive system improvements and accountability. Your leadership will not only improve data quality but also ensure compliance with organizational standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all phases of project lifecycles
- Drive process automation and manage stakeholder interactions
- Coordinate collaboration with finance and audit teams
- Support the Product Owner in backlog and testing
- Implement quality assurance procedures for reporting
- 8+ years in a finance systems advisory role
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and IFRS 17
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and SQL
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Jira/Confluence
- Bilingualism necessary for interaction in Quebec
