Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in North Vancouver

Make a difference in student lives as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst within the North Vancouver School District. This role focuses on behavioral assessments and designing personalized support plans for students. This 1.0 FTE assignment involves collaborating with the Complex Learners and Autism Support Services team to help students overcome social and emotional challenges. The BCBA will conduct functional behaviour assessments, implement positive behaviour support plans, and train personnel in safety procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a nurturing educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and supervise functional behavioural assessments
• Design positive behaviour support plans based on assessments
• Train staff and support student individualized goals
• Review reports and evaluate behaviour plans effectively
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in educational settings Requirements:
• Board Certified Behaviour Analyst certification required
• BC Teaching Certificate is an asset
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in designing assessment practices
