Certified Orthotist in Rehabilitation Services

Enhance clinical care as a Certified Orthotist in a dynamic multi-disciplinary team focused on pediatric and adult populations. Deliver expert clinical interventions and mentorship in a supportive environment. As a Certified Orthotist reporting to the Manager of Assistive Technology, you will play a crucial role in decision-making and providing evidence-informed care. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with healthcare professionals. In addition to leading complex cases, you will guide students and colleagues with your expertise. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership in orthotic interventions
• Conduct assessments and critically analyze treatment needs
• Mentor and evaluate students, residents, and interns
• Attend clinics, rounds, and conferences as required
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary setting Requirements:
• Certified Orthotist from Orthotics Prosthetics Canada
• 1-3 years of hospital experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
• Understanding of privacy legislation and patient confidentiality Deliver exceptional care and mentorship while solving complex clinical challenges as a Certified Orthotist.
