Rail Shop Administrator
Parsons Precast Inc. was founded in 1963 and has provided service to the entire Ontario region ever since. We are a manufacturer of precast steps and railings and work in new construction, residential and commercial.
We are presently looking to hire a Full-Time Administrator for our Rail Shop to work Monday - Friday from 8am-4:30pm. This position is primarily responsible for the ordering of supplies, processing and organization of rail orders and the documentation of production numbers for our rail shop in correspondence with the departments and company's targets and objectives.
Responsibilities/Daily Tasks would include:
· Monitor and Order Supplies for the Rail Shop
· Processing of Rail orders and completions
· Verifying receipt of all rail shop supplies and orders from our suppliers
· Organizing rail supplies and orders in the shop
· Assist in the receiving of rail orders from suppliers
· Follow up with any discrepancies on orders
· Handle customer inquiries regarding rail manufacturing/order status
· Track inventory of rail stock
· Document weekly rail production data
· Maintain files of supplies, rail orders and completions
· Assist office personnel with inbound phone calls
· Co-operate with co-workers
Qualifications:
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment specifically during our peak season
· Must be well organized and be able to multi-task while working under minimal supervision
· Excellent communication and customer service skills required
· Must be able to lift, carry about 50lbs and organize supplies and railing components
· Ability to order supplies, pick up or arrange delivery in a timely manner
· Proficient knowledge of computer including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
