Junior Quotations Analyst

Job Responsibility:

The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Junior Quotations Analyst will work as a member of a team dedicated to profitably growing the plumbing business at PMF Plumbing Supplies (Mississauga). Business and quote requests can come from multiple sources including Bid requests, design/build requests, and more.

· Accurately identify and interpret plumbing products on a job specification/scope of work/RFQ that are to be quoted by PMF Plumbing Supplies.

· Accurately enter quotes into PMF's online quoting system and/or Excel, and to be presented to either the customer or the outside sale representative under the direction of the Branch Manager.

· Look for and suggest ways to maximize profit for the Company and provide value to the customer within the acceptable specifications

· Read, understand and be familiar with relevant vendor catalogues

· Develop relationships with vendors that will create favorable business conditions (greater margin and accurate delivery dates) for the company

· Develop relationships with customers that positions PMF as their first choice for purchasing plumbing products

· Ability to work closely work with members of the Outside Sales Team; and with other individuals and departments within the Company

· Embrace learning and developing one's knowledge and skill sets and help other team members to ensure their growth

· Other duties as assigned

What You Offer

• Ideally 2 years of experience with and/or knowledge of plumbing products sold by wholesale plumbing distributors or equivalent
• Established history of demonstrating the ability to pay attention to detail
• Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven, fast paced environment
• Experience suggesting and implementing changes to processes and procedures
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Desire to continually be educated in the requirements of the position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, adobe Acrobat, Order Entry Software and internet gathering research
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills
• Customer centric and customer service oriented

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
