Junior Carpenter
Join Pro-X Event - a fast-growing force in the global event and tradeshow world - and help bring bold, custom builds to life! We're looking for a Junior Carpenter to join our creative, hands-on woodshop team.
Location:
- Mississauga, Ontario (head office & shop)
Your Day-to-Day:
- Bring designs to life by building, maintaining, and repairing custom tradeshow booths and similar structures by interpreting technical drawings and expertly using woodworking tools
- Work with precision and safety while operating woodworking tools and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring every build meets the highest quality standards
- Collaborate for excellence through sharing your insights and feedback on technical drawings, working closely with internal teams to enhance the final product
- Manage your time effectively ,working independently and as part of a team , to keep projects on track and on time
- Stay connected with the production team to flag issues and ensure smooth progress, while collaborating positively across departments
You Might be a Great Fit if You Are :
- Have 2+ years of experience working safely in a woodshop
- Are confident using a variety of woodworking tools and equipment
- Excel in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
- Can confidently read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Communicate clearly in Englishin person, over the phone, and via email
- Bring a detail-focused mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
- Bonus: Have experience with custom builds or tradeshow booths
