Lead Process Engineer at Deep Sky

Shape the future of environmental innovation as a Lead Process Engineer at Deep Sky. Engage in hands-on design and technology integration for Direct Air Capture projects across Canada. This senior individual-contributor role focuses on optimizing carbon capture systems, ensuring technical integrity, and guiding projects from conceptual design to commercial deployment. Your expertise in process design and integration will greatly influence equipment selection and energy optimization, contributing to Deep Sky's mission of sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process design for Direct Air Capture systems
- Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Execute advanced simulations with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
- Drive technology selection for DAC system components
- Collaborate on scaling modular DAC units to commercial facilities
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Canada
- 10+ years in process design within relevant industries
- Proficient in process simulation tools
- Strong background in mass transfer and gas separation
