We are looking for a Business Systems developer with robust Boomi experience. A dynamic and motivating personality is important as you'll work closely with our internal user community to understand their evolving needs with an emphasis on proactive discovery of operational deficiencies and continuous improvement.

Strong technical skills are a must as the role involves owning the technical implementation of projects within our Finance/G&A domain. Your communication skills will shine through as you'll be one of the main voices that interacts with our internal customers. Your eyes will always be looking toward DigitalOcean's controls environment, so previous experience with incorporating this into application administration is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Create integrations between various DigitalOcean systems to enhance and automate business processes, leveraging Boomi.
• Participate in business strategy and system architecture discussions to understand objectives, challenges, and associated processes/procedures/methodologies.
• Contribute to solution design, helping identify impacted stakeholders, document assumptions and assess the impact of system changes to users and to internal and external customers.
• Identify potential risks and pitfalls, articulating possible resolution strategies.
• Work with other technical colleagues to ensure close alignment and collaboration throughout design, development and implementation processes.
• Inform DigitalOcean's Business Systems architecture and development practice focusing on scalability, efficiency, and quality.

What We'll Expect From You:

• Active development experience of multiple integration strategies within Boomi (Integrations, Master Data Hub, Event Streams)
• Demonstrable ability to recommend experience to drive architecture decisions
• Proficiency with SuiteScript/JavaScript and REST/SOAP web services
• Strong communication skills working with both technical, and non-technical, colleagues
• Ability to foster collaboration within diverse teams
• Commitment to quality
• Engaging personality and cultural fit that espouses DigitalOcean corporate values
• Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn new technologies
• NetSuite SuiteFoundation and/or Administrator certification is a big plus
