Housekeeper & Manager

Position: House Manager (Part-Time) Location: Riverview, New Brunswick Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours daily, Anytime 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible hours) Compensation: Approx. $20-$25/hour based on experience level. About the Role We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Housekeeper & Manager to oversee the daily cleaning and operations of our family home. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, well-run, and welcoming home environment, and who is comfortable managing a wide variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning and Household Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized home through a structured cleaning schedule, including: Weekly tasks such as wiping down counters, tabletops, and chairs; cleaning office workstations (desks, monitors, keyboards, and chairs); mopping and vacuuming floors; doing laundry (wash and put away); cleaning up after dinner on designated evenings; organizing toys; watering houseplants; and restocking household essentials (tissues, toilet paper, diapers, wipes) Bi-weekly tasks including cleaning all three full bathrooms (following specific care instructions provided) and dusting the fireplace mantle and shelves. Weekly towel and facecloth turnover throughout the home. Monthly tasks including cleaning door handles, window ledges and vacuuming basement floors. Bi-monthly tasks including cleaning baby and bath toys, kitchen cupboards, and bathroom cupboards. Quarterly deep-cleaning including kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers, stove, fridge, dishwasher drain, and baseboards. Semi-annual and annual tasks including interior window cleaning, wall and floor vent cleaning, window track cleaning, and wall washing. Grocery and Food Management: Plan and place the weekly grocery order, unpack and organize all incoming items, clear out old fridge items, clean the fridge as needed, and organize the fridge, pantry, and freezer. Prep and organize food for the week and prepare family suppers on designated evenings. Home Supply and Product Management: Order household products and supplies as needed and maintain inventory of home essentials, flagging low stock to the family proactively. Errands and Vendor Coordination: Run errands as requested, purchase household or hardware items, kid clothing, etc. Liaise with home service providers and suppliers, including scheduling and coordinating deliveries, contractors, and tradespeople. Requirements Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Comfortable working in a family home environment with flexibility around occasional schedule changes. What We Offer Competitive hourly wage of 20-$25 hour and flexibility in daily working hours 4 hours daily anytime from 9am to 3pm Monday-Friday. Days off are flexible as well.
