Coordinator, Logistics

JGL Commodities Ltd. is looking for a Coordinator, Logistics to join our team in Saskatoon.

Logistics & Transportation

Coordinate commodity shipments by truck, rail, and other modes from pickup through delivery.
Schedule and track loads, manage shipment details and documentation, and ensure contractual and customer requirements are met.
Monitor shipments, identify delays or discrepancies, and resolve transportation and delivery issues.
Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, plants, producers, and internal teams.
Support trucking, rail, customs, export, and freight requirements.
Systems & Administration
Maintain accurate shipment, customer, carrier, rate, contract, and load information across internal systems and external portals.
Manage spreadsheets, trackers, records, documentation, reporting, and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate, timely information and identify missing documentation or discrepancies.

Collaboration & Support

Partner with trading, operations, and administration teams to align commodity movement with business priorities.
Provide timely logistics information, communicate risks and delays, and support contract execution.
Contribute to process improvements, special projects, and changing business needs.
Build strong relationships, maintain confidentiality, take ownership, and support a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Commerce, or related field is an asset.
Experience in logistics, transportation, commodity trading, agriculture, or grain is preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
