IT Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a technically skilled and operationally-minded Junior or Intermediate IT Specialist who thrives in a dynamic environment. This role supports our East (Netherlands / UK) and West (New Brunswick / US) teams with infrastructure, cloud services, DevOps practices, and internal system management. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to strategic IT development, enhance internal efficiencies, and deliver hands-on support with a strong understanding of security, automation, and AI tools. This position requires in-person (minimum three days) availability in Fredericton and a willingness to support business continuity and user experience in a high-impact role.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage cloud and on-prem environments, network configurations, and user accounts
• Resolve urgent tickets and blockers swiftly, maintaining system continuity for mission-critical operations
• Support the north American and European operational teams with independent troubleshooting and execution
• Contribute to process standardization and documentation of IT infrastructure and workflows
• Monitor security systems, assist in patching, access control, and audit readiness
• Deliver training and support to team members on systems, tools, and best practices
• Assist in IT procurement, asset and license management, and vendor liaison for technology assets
• Support unified processes and help reduce redundancies across locations and platforms

• Travel-Ready: Holds a valid driver's license and is open to occasional domestic/international travel
• Education: Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in IT support, DevOps, system administration, or a similar technical role
