Studio Manager

Job Responsibility:

The Nest Yoga Fredericton is a 2-room (heated and unheated) yoga studio and boutique (strategic sales partner of lululemon) in downtown Fredericton New Brunswick.

We are looking for a Studio Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day and back-end operations of The Nest Yoga Fredericton. This team member will ensure that everyone involved at The Nest Yoga has what they need to execute their roles with excellence and is the go-to team member for all staff, customers, and instructors!

The Studio Manager should be able to function as a front desk staff member and execute all aspects of the sales system (Mindbody).

The ideal candidate for this position would have excellent attention to detail, leadership skills, love and practice yoga, have awesome social media skills and have 2+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage studio, staff, and instructors schedule
• Provide exceptional product knowledge to empower clients and guests to make informed buying decisions for lululemon retail as well as yoga membership/pass options
• Creating/Managing our social media and online interactions of our Social Media Platforms
• Support Jenn (the owner) as needed
• Overseeing part-time and full-time front desk staff members
• Overseeing processes and ensuring consistency in execution
• Leader in Membership specialist
• Quality Checks
• Customer Service
• Fill the role of "yoga advisor" for new and existing students

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary Education or equivalent experience in business administration (management)
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manager role (retail or fitness industry preferred)
• MindBody system experience is an asset.
• Experience in yoga or health industry preferred
• Yoga instructor certification is an asset
• Flexible Schedule (Days, Evenings/Weekends)
