Lead API integrations and payment architecture remotely across Canada as a Senior Sales Engineer supporting enterprise merchants at Affirm. Shape scalable checkout solutions.
This Senior Sales Engineer combines technical aptitude, communication, and creative problem solving in pre-sales. You will lead discovery, analyze requirements, and identify well-architected solutions for enterprise merchants. The work spans Affirm sales, engineering, product, and partner engineering teams while supporting deals and implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as technical expert on Affirm integration solutions
Architect complex integrations and tailored merchant customizations
Build trust with enterprise and key merchants
Lead solution strategy for largest customer opportunities
Provide customer insights for product development
Requirements:
Four-plus years in sales engineering or related roles
Three-plus years in payments, fintech, or related industry
Strong API, SaaS, enterprise architecture, and checkout knowledge
Ability to write scripts in one programming language
Willingness to travel up to thirty percent
Apply technical expertise in payments, APIs, and enterprise architecture to help Affirm merchants build reliable checkout solutions.
