Territory Sales Manager

You want the freedom to manage your territory, spend time face-to-face with customers, and see the results of the business you build. We are looking for a full-time Territory Sales Manager to join our Wire Rope Industries team in Dartmouth, NS .

At Wire Rope Industries , you’ll take ownership of an established customer base while developing new business across a diverse industrial market. What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers throughout your territory.


• Build new business by identifying, connecting with, and developing prospective customers across your territory.


• Stay close to the market through regular face-to-face customer visits, strengthening relationships and uncovering new sales opportunities.


• Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding customers’ operations and recommending the right solutions.


• Sell a range of industrial products including rigging hardware, slings, wire rope, chain, fall-arrest equipment, fishing wire, and related lifting products.


• Prepare quotations and proposals and, as your product and market knowledge develops, participate in pricing negotiations.


• Support contract renewals in collaboration with the General Manager and branch leadership.


• Maintain an organized pipeline and customer activity in HubSpot CRM.


• Monitor your territory, including competitor activity, pricing changes, customer needs, and industry trends.


• Plan customer visits and travel efficiently to maximize productive face-to-face time.


• Respond quickly to customer concerns, supply challenges, and changing requirements.


• Collaborate with the branch, General Manager, and Director of Sales to develop sales strategies and identify opportunities.


• Occasionally represent Wire Rope Industries and Hercules Group of Companies at industry and networking events.

What We’re Looking For

The strongest candidate doesn’t necessarily need to arrive knowing every sling, wire rope, or piece of rigging hardware we sell. We can teach the products. We’re looking for the salesperson.

You’ll be successful here if you bring:

• B2B sales experience with a strong focus on relationship building and business development.


• A consultative approach - you ask questions, understand the customer’s needs, and then recommend a solution.


• Confidence prospecting and developing new customers.


• Strong account management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Self-motivation and the ability to manage your territory independently.


• Strong organization, planning, and time-management skills.


• A customer-first approach and ability to resolve issues quickly.


• Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn technical products.


• Comfort using technology and maintaining sales activity in a CRM.

Experience in industrial sales, technical products, rigging, lifting equipment, construction, marine, mining, utilities, or similar industries is a definite asset - but it isn’t the only path into this role.

What We Offer

• $60,000–$70,000 base salary, depending on experience


• Eligibility to participate in the Territory Sales Commission Plan

This is a hybrid, customer-facing position with occasional travel, including limited overnight stays as needed.
