Finance Director - REMOTE WORK

We are looking for a Finance Manager who operates at the intersection of strategy, forecasting, and systems innovation. This role turns clean accounting data into clear insights, forward looking models, and decision ready reporting for leadership. Your work enables confident planning, disciplined growth, and intelligent capital allocation across the business.

• *Strategic analysis and financial planning
• Continuous improvement through systems, automation, and AI
• *Deliver a concise, plain English financial report to the leadership team by the 15th
• Translate financial data into clear business insights and recommendations
• Include performance versus budget analysis
• 13 Week Cash Flow Forecasting**
• Own and maintain a rolling 13 week cash flow forecast
• Advise leadership on cash preservation, deployment, or investment decisions
• *Long Term Financial Forecasting and Modeling**
• Project revenue, expenses, and margin trends
• Support strategic planning, hiring decisions, and growth initiatives
• *Technology and AI Implementation**
• Leverage automation and AI driven solutions for FP&A, reporting, and analysis
• Reduce manual administrative work and improve speed, accuracy, and visibility
• *Internal Controls and Oversight**
• Design and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards
• *Analyze financial performance to uncover actionable insights
• Recommend operational improvements such as pricing changes, cost optimization, or investment prioritization
• Review reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, merchant accounts, and key balance sheet accounts.
• Approve journal entries, adjustments, and accruals prepared by the bookkeeping team.
• Support oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial policies.
• Partner with external CPA firms for tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Provide scenario analysis and financial modeling to support leadership decisions.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• *Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of financial management or senior accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (Vlookups, pivot tables)
• Reliable internet connection and secure remote working environment.
• *Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
• S. payroll processes and sales tax concepts.
