Rhodes Wellness College and the Vancouver School of Healing Arts (VSOHA) are specialized sister schools, managed by the same team of dedicated professionals. Our students become professional counselling therapists, life coaches, yoga teachers, bodywork therapists, and yoga therapists.

The Manager (or Director) of Finance and Human Resources is responsible for:

• Creating and monitoring budgets for all divisions
• Tracking and reporting all financial results
• Ensuring AR is diligently being collected and AP is being managed effectively.
• Improving funding options for students; including understanding and managing student loans
• Ensuring compliance in financial and accounting practices and ensuring the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements including those stipulated by CRA, PTIB, EQA, and employment law.
• Leading recruitment efforts together with other directors enabling the organization to hire, onboard, and manage staff effectively
• Ensuring reviews are being conducted and goals for employees are established by each department.
• Leading the organizations' efforts to create a positive work culture; working with employees so they feel supported and challenged.
• Managing the organization's benefits program

Job Requirements
Must reside in the Lower Mainland (BC)
CPA license
Minimum 5 years experience in accounting and finance working with a Canadian organization
Ability to create and manage budgets.
Capable of running reports with high skill in excel and industry software (e.g., Quickbooks) to track all student finances and school expenses, in line with GAAP, CRA, PTIB, and other requirements.
Ability to empathize with other employees while supporting managerial direction and goals
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work overtime and under tight timelines when the odd occasion requires
A good working knowledge of lead management and student management software systems
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
The ability to work independently with minimum supervision
The ability to prioritize so all deadlines are met
The ability to work in a high-paced and demanding environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20+ per week
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
