Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst H/F

Overview We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support operational finance activities within a dynamic business environment. This is a contract role based in a hybrid/on-site model, focused on financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering. The role involves interpreting financial results, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and driving process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Support monthly performance reporting, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Conduct profit & loss analysis and prepare financial reports for stakeholders
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., Act as a liaison between finance and operational teams
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including partner/audit-related queries
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Support ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and cross-functional projects
5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Experience with financial systems (SAP or similar ERP tools)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
- Experience in Oil & Gas or similar industries
- Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Experience with data analytics or reporting tools
Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
