As a Tax Manager, you’ll help our clients with corporate tax planning so they can benefit from tax savings and incentives. Coaching and mentoring a team of tax colleagues on compliance, helping them walk in clients' shoes by discussing tax planning options
Establish deep trusting relationships with clients as you advise them on complex tax matters
Review corporate tax provisions and compliance engagements, and analyze, review and complete corporate and personal income tax returns
Proactively resolve tax related issues with clients and other team members
Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services

At Doane Grant Thornton, you’ll work with inspiring leaders who support your development, both personally and professionally. Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Tax Manager? You’re enrolled in or have completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or have a Masters of Taxation degree
You’ve developed and presented new ideas and conceptualized new approaches and tax solutions for clients as part of your commitment to providing exceptional client service
You have solid experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax compliance
You’ve helped mentor and develop others
