Event Management Coordinator

The Sponsorship and Events Coordinator is a new role at Wonderhub, established for a one-year term with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and organizational need. This role leads the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate sponsors and partners, and leads the planning and execution of Wonderhubs fundraising events. The incumbent builds and manages a pipeline of corporate sponsorship prospects, develops sponsorship proposals and agreements, and ensures sponsor benefits are fulfilled and recognized, while also planning and delivering fundraising events that engage donors, sponsors, and the community. The Sponsorship and Events Coordinator works closely with the Director of Development, who focuses on major gifts and grants, and the Development Coordinator, who focuses on annual and mid-level giving and membership, as well as with marketing and operations staff, to grow the museums corporate sponsorship revenue and deliver effective and memorable fundraising events. The Sponsorship and Events Coordinator will be required to work independently and demonstrate a high level of initiative while being in a dynamic team environment where flexibility is essential.
