Goldstein Financial Consultants is an independent Mutual Fund Dealership located in North York. It is a family-owned business that has been in operations for over 50 years.
Job Summary: The Mutual Fund Administrator will provide comprehensive support to our President. As a Mutual Fund Assistant to the President, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company by handling administrative tasks, managing schedules, and maintaining client relationships. The position reports to the Manager, Client Services.
Responsibilities:
Manage the President/Advisor's calendar, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, monitoring emails and follow-up as required
Prepare and organize documents and reports for client meetings.
Act as a liaison between the President/Advisor and clients, and union members, responding to inquiries about their accounts and providing excellent customer service.
Assist with the preparation and submission of financial forms, applications, and other paperwork.
Work with team to maintain client database and ensure accurate and up-to-date client records.
Leads projects related to mutual funds, client administration, and office management as needed
Handle general administrative tasks, including phone calls, reception, emails, and office supply management.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Licensed Administrative Assistant or similar role, experience in the financial services industry (Insurance and Investment) is a requirement with a minimum of 2 years.
Must hold the Canadian Securities (CSC) or Canadian Investment Funds (CIFC) and have 3 years minimum industry experience.
Excellent knowledge of mutual funds (through industry experience or IFIC)
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the President/Advisor.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
