Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst H/F

Financial Analyst

Maple Reinders is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic and growing finance team in Mississauga, Ontario . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial analysis, corporate tax and working with consolidated financials in a multi-division environment. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and reporting for multiple divisions.
Utilize Excel, Vena, and Power BI to develop and maintain financial models and dashboards.
Collaborate with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for multiple divisions, businesses and joint ventures.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes across departments, divisions and related businesses.
Assist in corporate tax planning, compliance and audit.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Excel, Vena, and Power BI.
Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior level management and collaborate across functions.
Experience with corporate tax planning and compliance is an asset.
