Position: Account Executive
Reports to: Director of Sales

Want to revolutionize the industrial truck dealership industry?
Our software company is seeking an Account Executive who will acquire new industrial truck dealership clients. As an Account Executive, you will use your experience, domain expertise, and consultative selling skills to identify key opportunities, build strong business relationships and close new business. This is an outside sales role so the ability to travel both domestically and internationally is key.
This role reports to our Director of Sales and collaborates with multiple departments, such as but not limited to marketing, R&D, and product.

Use your expertise in industrial truck dealerships (such as forklift dealerships) to create a demand generation plan
Partner with a Sales Development Representative leverage the demand generation plan and fill your sales pipeline
Be open to new sales strategies and techniques. Operate from a data driven position
Conduct discovery sessions with prospects and customers in-person and via web
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of our sales tools
Collaborate closely and proactively with Senior Leadership, Product Experts and Technical Services to share client feedback, close deals and effectively execute sold transactions
Travel as necessary, ~25%
Lead or participate in other assigned projects

Work experience at or with industrial truck dealerships; Process and relationship driven with a proven ability to be consistent in activities that drive sales success
Ability to deliver presentations and explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Disciplined approach to daily CRM usage and following a proven sales process
Exceptional listening skills and desire to help your clients and colleagues
Sales experience, ideally software sales experience (Saas/Cloud) experience. Please apply if you have industrial truck dealership experience and some sales even if the sales experience isn't in software
Must have demonstrated success securing new clients (logos) and growing a sales territory
AI-Enhanced Content Creation - Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance content creation, personalize messaging, and improve workflow efficiency.
