Winnipeg Child and Family Services is currently seeking candidates for the Family Support Worker 2 position, offering a 48-hour bi-weekly guarantee, to provide services within Winnipeg. Under the direction of the assigned Coordinator, the Family Support Worker 2 provides a range of services that contribute to improving family functioning, parental capacity and child safety and well being. The Family Support Worker 2 participates in the development and implementation of a range of goal-oriented interventions to children and their families or to children in Care. teaching parenting skills, age-appropriate life skills, budgeting, nutrition and household management, advocating for and assisting clients with access to community resources, supervising family visits for children in care, and escorting children and/or their parents to scheduled appointments. Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes for travel within the Province of Manitoba

Must be able to work flexible hours including, days, evenings and weekends
