We are accepting applications from candidates both at an intermediate and senior accountant level. Responsible for the maintenance of the head office and joint ventures' fixed assets including:

o Ensuring that costs associated with assets are properly captured, classified and depreciated in accordance with company policy and IFRS
o Maintaining accurate records of all fixed assets, acquisitions, disposals, impairments and depreciation, reconciled to the general ledger
o Participating in monthly project review meetings
o Developing project performance follow-up tools
o Providing and preparing ad hoc reports and analysis as required
Responsible for lease accounting under IFRS 16
Responsible for managing insurance policy renewals in coordination with the Orano Group's insurance department and the accounting of insurance expense
Complies with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Occasional travel to various project sites as required

Qualities and skills we're seeking:

• Accounting Degree from a recognized institution
• CPA designation preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience using SAP an asset
• Excellent planning and organization skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlines
• This position is subject to pre-employment checks including education and criminal record verification. Drug and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all safety sensitive positions at Orano Canada.
