Sales & Service Customer Service Representative

Within the Aluminium Division, REEL currently operates three businesses complementary REEL Aluminium Inc. through NKM Noell Special Cranes GmbH, REEL Alesa and REEL Möller GmbH, a former entity of FLSmidth.

All these entities are committed to innovation and continuous improvement, and have a strong track record, having served every major aluminium producers in the world. More specifically, REEL has been operating in the Aluminium business sector for the past 20 years with dedicated teams based, among other, in Zürich (Switzerland), Montréal (Canada), Aix-en-Provence (France), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Köln (Germany) and Veitshoechheim (Germany).

Position:
Within the Burlington Aluminium group there is a need for an existing vacant position of Spare Parts and Service Sales Representative.

Responsibilities:

• Receipt of spare parts enquiries from customers.
• Locate equipment documentation (drawings, specifications, datasheets) related to the spare parts.
• Communicate with engineering with regards to drawing issues & revision requirements & part obsolescence.
• Communicate with Procurement to obtain pricing, availability and delivery.
• Preparation of customer proposals.
• Analyse requirements for service/spares on site together with customers.
• Develop technical solutions with customers and Engineering team on site and in office.
• Generation of supplier Purchase Requisitions.
• Liaise with Procurement Group to raise purchase orders and for order expediting.
• Assist with equipment suppliers and nominated internal stakeholder(s).
• Quotations for spare parts.
• Progress/scheduling of spare part orders.
• Maintain quote/order Documentation records.
• Liaison with Quality Inspection Personal.
• Liaison with shipping/logistics personnel to prepare shipping documents (i.e., packing list, shipping labels, commercial invoices) and arrange delivery to customer.
• Monitoring the shipping status (if shipping is included).
• Arranging for generation of customer invoices.
• Monitor stock movement and Inventory of Spare Parts in ERP system.
• Review monthly spare parts sales & margin report.
• Communicate with REEL offices regarding quotes and orders.
• Communicate directly with customers globally as required.
• Conduct meetings with REEL office personnel & customer personnel at sites.
• Follow established work procedures and instructions as per ISO 9001/14001 and 45001 standards.
• Follow established HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) regulations.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Experience as Spare Parts/Service (Key Account Manager in the Aluminium or Similar industries) would be an advantage in this role
Able to learn to read and understand technical drawings
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
High level of time management, analytical and mathematical skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

REEL Aluminium is located in Burlington, Ontario, and offers a competitive compensation (Annually $85 000 to $95 000 according to experience) as well as a wide range of benefits (pension fund with employer contribution, full group insurance, personal leave days, etc.).
