Senior UI/Frontend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Software Developer - Front End to lead the technical design, development, and delivery of responsive, user-centric front-end architectures for large-scale enterprise applications. In this role, you will translate complex system specifications into clean, scalable code while working closely with full-stack teams across the software development lifecycle. Operating within modern front-end frameworks and Java/Oracle backend ecosystems, you will build accessible, cross-browser-compatible user interfaces, optimize database objects, and troubleshoot technical application challenges to ensure seamless, high-performance web experiences.
Duration: 5-month contract.
Modern Front-End Stack Mastery: Build responsive, high-performance web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and Node ecosystems.
Full-Spectrum Technical Footprint: Combine UI engineering with deep Java/Spring frameworks and enterprise Oracle database programming.
Expand your credentials by implementing accessible digital designs compliant with WCAG 2.0 AA and AODA standards.

Front-End User Interface Engineering: Architect, code, and deploy attractive, responsive, and intuitive web interfaces using modern frameworks, ensuring seamless user interactions across diverse browsers and mobile devices.
Translate technical system specifications into working, tested code, seamlessly connecting front-end applications to Java/Spring backends and Oracle database layers.
Ensure all user interface components adhere strictly to digital accessibility mandates, including WCAG 2.0 AA and AODA standards.
Database Programming & Query Optimization: Design, construct, and optimize relational database objects including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and sequences.
Testing, Debugging & Triage: Conduct thorough unit testing, review application logs, refactor codebases, and resolve deep-seated technical bugs across early-stage and live application environments.
Agile & DevOps Workflow Governance: Participate in structured Agile development practices, leveraging modern version control systems, task boards, and CI/CD pipelines to manage code promotion.
Technical Design & Documentation: Write comprehensive programming specifications, maintain build configurations, and conduct solution design walkthroughs with multidisciplinary engineering squads.
Core Front-End Engineering Seniority: 10+ years of dedicated professional experience utilizing JavaScript, with 5+ years of hands-on experience using TypeScript, Angular (v2+), RxJS, HTML5, CSS, and Node/NPM (Strictly Required).
Java Development Depth: 10+ years of hands-on Java programming experience, paired with 5+ years of experience utilizing Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot) and application servers like WebSphere (v8.Relational Database Prowess: 10+ years of experience working with Oracle databases (12C or higher), including 5+ years writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and sequences (Strictly Required).
AODA & Accessibility Compliance: Proven hands-on experience building accessible, responsive web applications compliant with AODA and WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines (Strictly Required).
DevOps & IDE Tooling: 3+ years of experience utilizing Azure DevOps and Bitbucket, alongside 5+ years working with Java IDEs such as Eclipse, IBM RAD, or IBM RSA (Strictly Required).
