Front End Developer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing user interfaces for web and mobile applications using modern frameworks and technologies. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
As a front-end developer, you will work as part of a team to implement new features, as well as make modifications and fix bugs in existing code. Your duties will include designing and developing layouts, writing code to power the underlying functionality of the website, and developing tests for the code you write.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user interfaces for web and mobile applications using React and Next.js.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create responsive user experiences.
- Implement RESTful APIs to integrate frontend components with backend services.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and user experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with mobile development and responsive design.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into frontend applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years experience as a front-end developer.
- Advanced knowledge of front-end web programming languages, such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as NextJS.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- UX Design experience.
- Experience with Cloud Services preferably AWS.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of MongoDB and its integration with frontend applications.
- Understanding of professional software engineering best practices for the complete software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
