Part time weekend cook

Our Health & Care team has an exciting new opportunity to join the Sodexo team as our next Part Time Cook at the Kids Hospital.
2nd Cook : Hourly Wage: $25.65 /hr (CAD)-Weekend availability is required.

During your role, it will be your responsibility to support the Chef in the execution of daily activities defined for our client contract regarding all food service offerings and the a la carte menu. You will use your skills to help create an excellent food service offering for the patients, clients and guests of this site. You will be asked to prepare general food production, cook, and serve, as well as other assigned tasks. Food Safety, Health and Safety, Policies and Procedures, and Marketing.
Ensuring high-quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards
During your mandate, you will be required to coordinate successfully - direct all food and customer service
You will prepare meals following standardized recipes and work within a set budget to reduce waste and improve production, safety and sanitation in food service.
You will be expected to set an example for other employees by applying Sodexo's food safety standards. - You will be required to know and practice all relevant department and facility policies and procedures including health and safety programs
Strong teamwork and customer service skills
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Cook certification and FoodSafe certification are assets
