Provides professional service and expertise in a broad, overarching and unspecified area of financial matters, which may include planning, analysis and reporting accountabilities for organizational unit(s) assigned. As a Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for:
Reviewing & approving customer quotations and proposals, support during RFP process and provide feedback to various stakeholders relating to finance topics
Ensuring contract profitability is closely monitored for improvements, including contract compliance and in-depth analyses vs prior year, budget and forecast
Supporting planning, controlling and analysis of financial activities (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow related)
Leading the development and implementation of financial and business administration policies, standards, and procedures
Active involvement in month and quarter end close, analysis performed, appropriate controls are in place, to ensure clean books in accordance with accounting principles and RIC requirements
Providing in-depth analysis of costs, provide transparency on cost drivers, build up cost bridge and advise opportunities for productivity improvement
Analyses and monitors key performance indicators and business performance, and creates regular reports to management.
Handling of internal and external audits, provide necessary documentation as required and participate in related meetings.
Evaluating and driving implementation of digitalization and automation opportunities to streamline and simplify existing workflows.
Supporting on corporate initiatives, manage projects as needed, thinking “Outside the Box”
Considered to be a valued and recognized expert in budgeting/forecasting, monthly close activities, and various types of financial analysis
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related area (CPA designation preferred)
Minimum 8 years’ experience in various types of financial analyses, monthly close activities, and budgeting and forecasting
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail to identify variances, trends, and anomalies in financial data triggering proactively necessary actions and at the same time provide accurate and reliable data under given deadlines.
Expert level skills in using business intelligence tools, data analysis and visualization, automation and digitalization is preferred (PowerBI, Qlik, Microsoft PowerApps suite, etc.)
Ability to manage up, down, and in all directions without expressed authority, building appropriate rapport with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Expert in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and SAP knowledge is preferred
