Our client in the education sector has a need for an Senior Accountant to join their established team. This is an excellent professional environment where you will work with a supportive, friendly team.
About The Role
Working along side and supporting the Administration office, you would report into the CFO. Your duties would include but not be limited to:
accounts receivable and collections of tuition payments
billing administration and cash applications
semi-monthly staff payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and government remittances
general accounting duties including accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
budgeting and revenue reports including monthly cash reports, financial reports and investment summaries
Ad-hoc work as requested by Administration
Systems used are Paymate, Sage Business Vision, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
About The Candidate
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a general accounting role with receivables and payroll responsibilities
Similar ERP experience is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong aptitude in learning new technology tools
A GREAT attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communications skills are MANDATORY
You must be tactful, respectful, dependable and reliable.
