Stage Analyste Financier - Finance Analyst Internship

Compensation: $58,887 + 3 weeks' paid vacation and partial benefits (health & dental)
Job Type: Intern

Contract Duration: June 8, 2026 to June 4, 2027.
Work Location: Halton Regional Centre - 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville (Finance)

To be eligible to apply for an intern position, you must meet the following criteria:
In possession of a Social Insurance Number at time of hire.
You have graduated or will graduate with a recognized post-secondary degree or diploma, post-graduate certificate or diploma between January 2025 and June 2026.
Process or upload General Ledger journal entry transactions.
Assist with the preparation of monthly reconciliations.
Assist with the processing of Tangible Capital Assets transactions.
Assist in the preparation of various Federal, Provincial financial Schedules, and municipal reporting.
Undergraduate degree in Business/Finance with a major in Accounting.
Sound knowledge of general accounting and auditing procedures such as: balancing and reconciling of accounts; financing; and general financial controls.
Capable of planning and implementing work in an organized manner and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
Demonstrate excellent communication, financial analysis and problem solving skills, including attention to detail
