Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for improvements to the product flow of raw materials through to the finished product delivery to the customer.

Scheduling of all incoming and outgoing loads at the Distribution Centre

Review and prepare release times for Tissue & Diaper loads as well maintaining the online shipping schedule

Review and respond to any inventory notes/cuts reports related to on-time delivery of stock transfers

Book appointments with customer Pick Up Carriers & inbound loads

Execute departmental Continous Improvement projects as assigned

Work with the Logistics Leadership team to help automate and improve the functionality of Raw Material and Finished products at the site

Maintain and improve the current SOP database, as well as the ability to track all aspects in conformance with our safety standards.

• 2-5 years logistics experience
• Power BI Experience is an asset
