As Financial Analyst, you’ll be supporting financial forecasting, budgeting, business planning, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. The work you do will impact beauty, as you deliver accurate financial insights that guide our retail, online, and omni business decisions. You’ll be part of a team that’s united in beauty, supported by those who are equally as passionate about driving strong financial planning and analysis at Sephora Canada.

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary
Prepare analysis and reporting that include both financial and non-financial content, including recurring financial results, forecast presentations, and ad-hoc business cases
Support the monthly close process including preparation of variance reports and analysis with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and understand business operations
Support ad-hoc projects and financial analysis and reporting requests as needed

Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, with knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements

• 1-2 years of related financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or financial reporting/accounting experience; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships across the organization including non-finance personnel
• Familiarity with Excel and Financial Systems
• Familiarity with Excel modelling skills and comfort with financial systems, preferably SAP Business Objects
