We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Baker's Assistant at our coffeehouse. As a Baker's Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our bakery operations run smoothly, contributing to the quality and freshness of our baked goods. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Assisting in Baking Operations: Support the head baker in preparing and baking a variety of products such as pastries, cookies, sandwiches, and salads.
Measure and prepare ingredients accurately according to recipes and production schedules.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the baking area. Assist in quality checks to ensure products meet our standards.
Customer Service Support: Occasionally interact with customers to provide information about our baked goods and assist with purchases.
Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of baking techniques and food safety guidelines.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
