Our company is looking for a SharePoint Systems Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate status updates with changes, issues and projects with internal and external parties;
  • Design complex application solutions primarily based on Microsoft technologies (SharePoint, Skype for Business and Exchange);
  • Deploy, maintain and optimize technical environments;
  • Some travel, after-hours and on-call work may be required;
  • Troubleshoot issues related to software, compute, storage and networking;
  • Utilize Change Control software to plan and manage changes to existing environments;
  • Creating and maintaining Ceryx documentation, diagrams and procedures;
  • Open and manage support cases with external parties (product vendors, service providers and manufacturers);
  • Researching new and existing technologies to increase operational efficiency, performance and value to company stakeholders;
  • Tier 3 technical support for internal and external parties;
  • Perform technical documentation and environment assessments as well as remediation planning;
  • Manage and report on assigned projects, tasks and support cases.

Requirements:

  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects;
  • 3+ years experience in a Systems Administration or Systems Engineer role;
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues;
  • Training and certifications (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: SharePoint, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: SharePoint Applications);
  • Experience with the following: Windows Powershell, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Workflows and SQL/Oracle database query;
  • Working knowledge of project management tools including Confluence, JIRA & SmartSheet;
  • Solid understanding of the various components of a SharePoint site and how to configure them;
  • Knowledge of information technology computer systems and software, including integration and implementation activities;
  • Bachelor’s degree – Field of study: Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field;
  • 3-5 years of SharePoint Administration experience.
