Engineering Manager – AdTech Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Engineering Manager – AdTech to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Management to own the Ads and Data Platform engineering roadmap;
- Ensure timely resolution of critical production-affecting issues and communicating these efficiently;
- Ensure that systems designed and develop meet and/or exceed expectations on scalability, execution speed, reliability and quality;
- Work with fast-paced initiatives, overseeing projects from idea conception and strategy development to deployment, production, and operations;
- Align software engineering practices and products with measurable business objectives;
- Handle multiple projects at the same tim e;
- Ensure established processes (for quality, security, et cetera) are followed by your team;
- Execute and continuously improve intra-team process’ (weekly meeting, Agile, etc);
- Facilitate technical feasibility evaluations with technical leads.
Requirements:
- Formal degree (BS or MS) in CS, Math or technical field, or equivalent experience;
- A minimum of 10 years working in software engineering;
- Previous relevant experience as a Software Engineering Manager, Technical Director or Director of Engineering;
- Strong preference for experience working in ad tech (focus on server-side), data engineering and highly scalable web services.
