As our Coordinator of Volunteers , you will shape how volunteers connect, contribute, and support compassionate care in our community.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead the full volunteer journey, including:
- Recruiting and welcoming new volunteers
- Delivering engaging training and development opportunities
- Building relationships and supporting volunteer wellbeing
- Recognizing and celebrating volunteer contributions
- Collaborating with staff to enhance programs and services
- Expanding outreach to attract a diverse volunteer base
- Strengthening community partnerships and networks
What You Bring
- Experience working with volunteers, teams, or community programs
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Organization and problem-solving strengths
- A passion for community impact and compassionate care
- Knowledge of hospice or palliative care (an asset)
