Food Service Aide

Fairview Nursing Home has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Aide to join their team.

• Status: TemporaryPart-Time 08:30 - 12:00 (28hr biweekly)
  Location: 14 Cross street
  Expected Start Date : September 2 2026

The hiring rate for this role is $22.78per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

As a new Food Services team member (FSA) you will:

• Completion of the Food Services Worker training program is an asset
• Hold a valid Food Handlers certification (Please upload current certification with your resume)
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members;
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs;
• Have exceptional time management sills and ability to work in collaboration with a team;
• Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques;
• Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents;
• Food Service Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.
