Nanny Wanted - Part Time Nanny / Household Assistant (Leading To Full Time)

We are a warm, welcoming family seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive nanny to join our household. We have a wonderful 1.5-year-old and are expecting a newborn in September. We are looking for someone who can start part-time and transition to a full-time role as our family’s needs grow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children while also taking pride in helping keep a busy household running smoothly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Childcare: Providing attentive, nurturing care for our 1.5-year-old Planning age-appropriate educational and recreational activities Reading, playing, and engaging in developmental activities Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children Diaper changes, naps, and maintaining daily routines Assisting with the newborn as needed after arrival Household Duties: Children’s laundry and general household laundry Keeping the home clean, organized, and tidy Kitchen clean-up and dishwasher loading/unloading General household organization Meal preparation Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, tidying common areas, etc.) We’re looking for someone who is: Experienced caring for infants and toddlers Kind, patient, energetic, and dependable Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently Comfortable balancing childcare with household responsibilities CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification) Legally entitled to work in Canada A valid driver’s licence is considered an asset Schedule: Part-time to start, with the opportunity to transition to full-time beginning in the fall. Days and hours can be discussed with the successful candidate. Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
