Nanny Wanted - Experienced Part Time Family Assistant / Nanny In Mississauga (Queensway & Dixie)

Part-Time Family Assistant / Nanny in Mississauga (Queensway & Dixie) — Monday to Thursday, afternoon to early evening with opportunities for additional hours. We are a warm, busy young family looking for a kind, reliable and proactive part-time Family Assistant/Nanny to become a trusted part of our household. We have a young daughter who attends daycare during the day, as well as a friendly small dog. We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with children but is also happy to help keep a household running smoothly. This would be a great fit for someone looking for consistent part-time hours with the opportunity to pick up additional daytime, evening and occasional weekend work. Responsibilities will include:

• Caring for our daughter (14 months old) and helping with her routine after daycare
• Preparing and cooking healthy meals for our daughter and family - no grocery shopping required
• Light household tasks such as laundry, folding, tidying the playroom, keeping the kitchen organized and general day-to-day tidying
• Occasionally walking our small dog or letting her out in the backyard
• Helping make the transition from daycare to dinner and the evening routine smooth and relaxed

Because our daughter attends daycare, the core role is part-time. However, we would love to find someone with some flexibility who may be available for additional full-day hours when she is home sick from daycare, as well as occasional evening or weekend babysitting. It would be a wonderful bonus if you have a safe, reliable vehicle and are comfortable with daycare pickup, which is approximately 10 minutes from our home, but having a vehicle is not required for the role. We’d love to find someone who is:

• Dependable and punctual
• Proactive and comfortable taking initiative around the home
• Confident preparing healthy family meals
• Comfortable with a small, friendly dog
• Looking to build a longer-term relationship with a family
• Flexible when occasional additional hours are available
