This is not financial trading. This is hands-on commodity trading — buying, selling, negotiating, and executing real deals with real shipments.
In this role, you will build your own book of business by developing relationships with suppliers and customers, identifying opportunities, and closing transactions in a fast-paced market.
Deals can close in one day. Prices move daily. Shipments can take months.
You don’t just close deals — you own them from negotiation to final delivery. The Challenge
You’ll operate in a competitive, margin-driven environment where speed and judgment matter. You’ll need to:
- Identify real opportunities quickly
- Make confident pricing and negotiation decisions
- Stay disciplined to protect margins
- Follow through on execution over weeks or months
- Prospect and develop relationships with suppliers and buyers
- Negotiate purchase and resale pricing
- Close deals in short sales cycles (often within days)
- Manage margins in a fast-moving pricing environment
- Stay involved post-sale to ensure smooth logistics and execution
- Build and grow your own book of business across North America
- 2+ years of experience managing full B2B sales cycles
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in short, fast-paced sales cycles
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you take ownership and act
- Organized enough to manage both closing and follow-through
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Experience in commodities, distribution, logistics, construction materials, or agriculture is an asset

Il ne s’agit pas de trading financier. Il s’agit de trading de matières premières concret — acheter, vendre, négocier et exécuter de véritables transactions avec de véritables expéditions.
Dans ce rôle, tu développeras ton propre portefeuille d’affaires en établissant des relations avec des fournisseurs et des clients, en identifiant des opportunités et en concluant des transactions dans un marché dynamique. Certaines transactions se concluent en une journée. Les prix évoluent quotidiennement. Les expéditions peuvent prendre des mois. Tu ne fais pas que conclure des transactions — tu en es responsable du début des négociations jusqu’à la livraison finale. Le défi
Tu évolueras dans un environnement compétitif, axé sur les marges, où la rapidité et le jugement sont essentiels. Tu devras :
- Identifier rapidement de vraies opportunités
- Prendre des décisions de prix et de négociation avec confiance
- Rester discipliné(e) pour protéger les marges
- Assurer le suivi de l’exécution sur plusieurs semaines ou mois
- Ce rôle récompense les personnes qui prennent des initiatives, restent performantes et livrent des résultats de façon constante.
- Prospecter et développer des relations avec des fournisseurs et des acheteurs
- Négocier les prix d’achat et de revente
- Conclure des transactions dans des cycles de vente courts (souvent en quelques jours)
- Gérer les marges dans un environnement de prix en constante évolution
- Rester impliqué(e) après la vente pour assurer une exécution logistique fluide
- Construire et développer ton propre portefeuille d’affaires à travers l’Amérique du Nord
- 2+ ans d’expérience dans la gestion complète de cycles de vente B2B
- Excellentes compétences en négociation et en développement de relations
- À l’aise dans des cycles de vente courts et rapides
- Capacité à prendre des décisions sous pression
- Esprit entrepreneurial — tu prends des initiatives et agis
- Assez organisé(e) pour gérer à la fois la conclusion et le suivi
- Bilingue (français et anglais)
- Une expérience en matières premières, distribution, logistique, matériaux de construction ou agriculture est un atout
