Job Summary The Medical Imaging Program of NL Health Services, Urban Zone is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiologist. The candidate will work closely with the Neuro IR team as well as Neurology and Neurosurgery, and will participate fully with the Provincial Code Stroke Program. The role involves providing diagnostic and interventional Neuro Radiology services, with some general radiology duties. A full schedule of CT, MRI, US, fluoroscopy and X‑ray, as well as vascular and non‑vascular interventional procedures, supports a busy Cancer Clinic. The successful candidate will have post‑residency fellowship training in Neuro IR.
Call duties are expected and may be shared with Radiology Residents, with an option to perform some call duties from home. The position may also require occasional travel to support rural sites.
Required Qualifications MD degree.
Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) in Radiology.
Neuro Interventional Radiology fellowship required.
Eligibility for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL (CPSNL).
Ability to satisfy credentialing requirements of Eastern Health, including a satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
Hours of Work Full time and part‑time options, plus on‑call obligation.
Remuneration Competitive and in accordance with the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association Memorandum of Agreement and MCP Fee Schedule. The group practice has a shared income and expense model.
Language English.
Incentives Relocation coverage. Provincial incentives apply.
