Location: Canada/Remote
Must Have
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture, Distributed Systems, and REST APIs
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and database optimization
- Cloud Architecture experience (AWS preferred)
- Proven experience driving architecture and technical strategy
- Experience improving scalability, performance, resiliency, and observability
- CI/CD, automated testing, and code review experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred
- Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or Solutions Architect background
- React.js and Tailwind CSS
- SaaS B2B product experience
- Platform integration and multi-product ecosystem experience
- Engineering mentorship and technical leadership
- Observability, monitoring, tracing, and security best practices
Nice to Have
- Fintech, payments, invoicing, or business management platform experience
- High‑scale multi‑tenant SaaS environments
- Mobile‑first product experience
- Experience in quick‑growing product companies
