Solution Consultant

Role Description

Great opportunity to join FNZ's Solution Consulting team. The team is responsible for providing a range of high‑value services to FNZ’s existing and potential customers. The Solution Consultant role is key within the team, delivering platform configuration, consulting, and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for aligned FNZ client projects, building capability and supporting junior members.
• Instill a spirit of continuous improvement in the team.
• Work with FNZ customers and internal stakeholders to define proposition and product requirements.
• Provide market expertise and be an SME in FNZ Platform functionality to help customers define propositions.
• Understand and advise on a Platform Target Operating Model, including interfaces.
• Run the Model Wealth Solution (MWS) configuration process for new implementations, capturing all configuration points.
• Document bespoke customer requirements and ensure they are met.
• Provide review and quality assurance of solution documentation.
• Deliver training programmes and knowledge transfer services.
• Offer consultancy services and advise customers on regulatory compliance.
• Act as an SME in the platform market and support other FNZ business areas.

Experience & Qualifications

• 1st class degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a delivery/consulting environment in the financial services/wealth market.
• Experience working in a business analysis/consulting role.
• Ability to establish continuous improvement and capability development.
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly developed team communication skills.
• Independent, self‑directed and delivery focused working style.

Preferred Industry Knowledge

• Consulting, analysis or architecture experience.
• General investment/wealth/life and/or pensions products and market knowledge.
• FNZ Platform expertise, SME in at least four functional areas.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment in the jurisdiction and upcoming changes.
